The 2Scoops Please Story
Little Moments. Lasting Memories.
Two things are true for every parent.
#1: Kids grow up fast.
#2: Life is busy.
Between work, schedules, and screens, it can feel like there’s never enough time to slow down and just be with your family. The moments you do get together are precious, because you only get one chance to make an impact that lasts a lifetime.
And like so many parents, you’ve probably asked yourself:
How do I find more time for real connection with my family?
How can I help my kids build strong values that last?
What can I do to turn down the screen time and turn up the quality time at home?
Kyle Bonnstetter, a devoted Midwestern dad and founder of 2Scoops Please, knows the struggle all too well.
Between work, screens, endless activities, and the daily hustle, finding time to truly connect with family can feel impossible. Like so many parents today, he wanted more than just busy days; he wanted meaningful moments. Moments to laugh, to listen, to build values, and to strengthen the bond that makes a family truly close.
That’s exactly what Kyle and his wife, McKinsie, are intentional about every day: making time for meaningful one-on-one moments with each of their three wonderful children.
One evening, while reading with his son, Kyle got to the end of the book and thought, "Wait… that’s it?" It felt like pages were missing, that the story had no real point or message. Where was the moral or lesson?
That moment lit a spark. Kyle realized storytime was the perfect distraction-free environment to have connecting conversations with his kids and cultivate tractional values.
His desire to read more books teaching morals and lessons to his kids led Kyle to what we do today at 2Scoops Please: create exclusive stories and activities that turn everyday moments into lasting family memories.
Every book we write and activity we create is meant to help parents and children build trust and joy through meaningful moments together.
